A few weeks back was the Annual Black Bart Holdup Days in our beautiful small town. Back in 1883, legendary stage coach robber Black Bart made his last successful robbery on the main street of Sutter Creek California, just about a mile from Castle Profits. Every year this event is re-enacted with a gun slinger show and other related activities and events.

I have some new t-shirts that are exclusive to RedBubble for the time being. If sales stay promising, I’m going to try and continue designing new ones as often as possible. I’m currently trying to finish a new one daily as time permits. Also up on RedBubble are some designs from Popular Threadz that are available in additional colors and styles like v-necks and long sleeves that I ‘m not printing on right now. So, if you’re looking for even a larger selection of shirt colors, hoodies and styles than I have in stock at Popular Threadz you can check there. Stickers of designs are also available.
When you order 4 or more shirts from RedBubble the shipping is FREE!

I really enjoy art that is based on items of our everyday or childhood. Andrew Lewicki is a sculptor who embodies these ideas. From an Oreo Cookie manhole cover to concrete lego blocks. Taking iconic objects and creating art from them is what you’ll see in the projects on his website.

On weekends in Chicago at public parks you may encounter The Book Bike. This custom built trycycle that rolls around with 200 pounds of free books. Anyone wanting to read something can take home a book and since 2008, The Book Bike has put over 3,000 books into the hands of people.
As summer approaches, The Book Bike’s current goal is to spotlight independent publishers, from hand-crafted zines to literary magazines and books. With your help, all books on The Book Bike will be purchased from local used bookstores and directly from indie press and zinesters around the world. Visit The Book Bike and give your support for this great project.

While I haven’t worn a tie in a decade or so, I do remember how it was difficult to find a decent stylish tie in the abundance of the junk that was available. I’ve created a few ties of my own for Popular Threadz HERE. Browsing through etsy I came across Cyberoptix TieLab, which has a great selection of ties I would enjoy wearing if this entrepreneur thing doesn’t work out.

May the fourth be with you.
From wikipedia:
“May 4 is called Star Wars Day (also sometimes known as Luke Skywalker Day) because of a pun on the similarity between “May the 4th be with you” and “May the Force be with you”, a phrase often spoken in the Star Wars movies.
Despite efforts to start[5] a Jedi Church with 4 May as its Star Wars Day, as of 4 May 2009 there is no religion-supporting organization that promotes 4 May as Star Wars Day.
The joke is recorded in the UK parliament’s Hansard.[6]
In 2005 German news TV channel N24 interviewed George Lucas and asked him to say his famous sentence, “May the Force be with you.” The translator simultaneously translated to German: “Am 4. Mai sind wir bei Ihnen”. (We are with you on May 4). This was captured by comedy show TV Total and aired on May 18, 2005.”
